Awh, I wanted one but they were too expensive for my (US) $50 limit. So I got a Farkas MDC.

Just got my (school-owned)mellophone Yesterday!
It won't be until Fall or so that I get a real horn. Sad

I tried a Yamaha GP 30, and it wasn't as heavy as I had expected. I really wouldn't even consider it a heavyweight mouthpiece, as it was lighter than the other mouthpieces I have used. The sound was not very resonant, but I could play loud and high quite easily.
In other words, I don't recommend it.
