Great to see that Alison has released a second CD - this time of Bach arrangements:

I'm going to order this one - it's great that a UK trumpet player has got a quality recording contract from the same label as Antonssen and André!

I enjoyed Alison's first recording very much - although it isn't my favourite trumpet and organ CD - it has a wide a varied repertoire and it's all very precise and clean.

I originally saw it in HMV and wasn't so sure about getting it at the 17 quid price tag they slapped on it - the Amazon price however is very reasonable.

Has anyone bought this recording already? Could you put up a quick review if you have?

This has to be some of the most beautiful and controlled playing I've heard in a long time. Alison really is an incredible player. Get this CD if you want to hear some truly expressive trumpet playing.
