I have a 1961/2 connstellation 38B trumpet that i would like to swap for another trumpet. it has original lacker and in excellent condition. serial number is 977857 if u are interested let me know. open to offers

yes it plays beautiful. have been playing for 19 years and although im at a good standard i think it would be better in the hands of someone who appreciates it a bit more. like i said its in very good shape and original lacker. not sure how much it is worth. i tried to upload a picture but it wouldnt let me.

I would check the web site "Conn Loyalist." it is run by a very knowledgeable person and I think you could get some very good advice--especially if you post the pic. Don't be surprised if you are over-run by offers. This horn appears to be an pre-UMI vintage and can, as I said before, be highly desirous, as these horn are becoming quite scarce and yours, at least on sight, look very well preserved.

According to one of the posters (Schwab) on a US based Trumpet Website (TrumpetMaster 2007) they "normally go for $5 - 700 on eBay".
There is currently one going for $1000 with 0 bids.
Looks a pretty good instrument!

Perhaps--with people who are not sure what they have-- specificplayers-not collectors-will pay more.
